Description
This lovely large bud was not yet unfurled when I took a photograph of it in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park on the North Carolina side. I believe it is a rose mallow but that is a type of hibiscus - so, perhaps, it is better described as a pink hibiscus. I added textures from pixabay.com to soften its overall appearance.

Thank you, Marcy. I am learning about textures now and how best to apply them.
